Advantages of LED PCB
Smaller size, lighter weight – LED PCBs are smaller than traditional PCBs and require less circuitry to run. Because they are typically significantly thinner, they are much lighter in weight and require less fastening to hold them in place.
Easier to integrate – With just one basic circuit, LED PCBs can be integrated into any surface or device. They can be placed flush on a surface without affecting the overall shape or weight of the area to which they are attached. Be sure to ask your EMS solution partner about the possibilities.
Efficient power consumption – Only enough power is needed to run the board itself, and much less power is required to run it.
Color and brightness controllable – Each chip can be calibrated and controlled to emit light of different intensities. Modifications can also allow different colors of LEDs to be placed in the circuit.
Better heat dissipation – Since the heat generated by the LEDs is absorbed through the PCB core, there is no heat buildup like other lighting options.
Longer lifespan – Since the light is formed using multiple LED chips, the life of a single LED is significantly longer than that of a regular bulb. The chips are much less likely to burn out and will not burst due to sudden fluctuations in energy.
