What is a Rogers PCB?

Rogers PCB is a laminate material. that manufactured by Rogers which is a manufacturer of circuit boards. Rogers FR-4 laminates, which are different from conventional PCBs with sheet epoxy resin. which have ceramic-based in the middle . instead of no glass fiber . So, they have the advantage of low loss at high frequencies, which makes them ideal for RF circuit boards.

Why are Rogers PCB Appropriate?

TYPES OF ROGERS PCB MATERIALS

RO3000 series: Ceramic-filled PTFE circuit materials based on ceramic, models: RO3003, RO3006, RO3010, RO3035 high frequency laminates.

RT6000 series: Ceramic-filled PTFE circuit materials based on ceramic, designed for electronic and microwave circuits requiring high dielectric constants, models are: RT6006 dielectric constant 6.15, RT6010 dielectric constant 10.2.

In contrast, Roger PCBs have a greater and broader range of dielectric values, ranging from 6.5 to 11. Due to characteristic of Rogers PCB.
